Wonderful Wanaka
(15th - 16th December)
We'd heard Wanaka was a bit cheaper and nicer than Queenstown for Adrenaline stuff. Thing is, we'd already had enough adrenaline for one week, and seen enough scenery at Fjordland, so we didn't really need to stay at Wanaka for long. It was more of a stopping off point to stock up on food and get decent internet access to book our Christmas accommodation.
I'm glad we went there though, if for no other reason than this: I FOUND ROBINSON'S SPECIAL R APPLE & BLACKCURRANT SQUASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has literally made my trip.
